Us folk at Old Dog Books have come together with a mission. To recreate the excitement of the Pulp Fiction novels that so many of us grew up with. Richard Allens’ Skinhead books were as much a part of our childhood as Blakeys, Chopper bikes, Bazooka Joe gum and Slade!
The bulk of the books we are releasing are all new short stories based around the lives and times of teenagers growing up in a Britain of a bygone era (however - if somebody wants to write a novel set in Belgium then send it on over). These are the untold stories of the kids who chose to be different. To join tribes. To experiment with drink, drugs, violence and alienation from society.
We also hope to be publishing street poetry books to offer something a little different. Join us on our adventure. We hope to make to make Joe Hawkins proud of us.
